What is Quick Queue?
Quick Queue is Busch Gardens Tampa’s paid skip-the-line system. If you’ve heard of or used Universal’s Express Pass or Six Flags’ Flash Pass, Quick Queue is very similar. There are multiple different versions, with different benefits, princes, and structures, which I will break down further in this post.
How long do you wait with Quick Queue
While factors like ride operations and crowds can affect this, from experience, Quick Queue lines seem to almost always be extremely short. Busch Tampa likes to give extreme priority to Quick Queue so the line stays short. It’s extremely rare to see a Quick Queue wait longer than even 20-25 minutes.

Types of Quick Queue
Quick Queue allows for the skipping of lines one time per included attraction. You can skip the lines on Tigris, Falcon’s Fury, Cheetah Hunt, SheiKra, Montu, Kumba, Cobra’s Curse, Scorpion, Stanley Falls Flume, SandSerpent and Congo River Rapids. Your Quick Queue will be scanned at each attraction, and will only be able to be used once per included ride.

Quick Queue Unlimited + Iron Gwazi
Quick Queue Unlimited + Iron Gwazi is the most expensive and inclusive Quick Queue pass. The rides included are the same as Quick Queue (Tigris, Falcon’s Fury, Cheetah Hunt, SheiKra, Montu, Kumba, Cobra’s Curse, Scorpion, Stanley Falls Flume, SandSerpent and Congo River Rapids), with the addition of Iron Gwazi 1-time. The rides (except for Iron Gwazi) can be skipped an unlimited amount of times.
Quick Queue Unlimited
With all the rides included on Quick Queue, Unlimited allows for the skipping of lines an unlimited amount of times on the park’s attractions, except for Iron Gwazi, the park’s newest attraction. The pass is identical to Quick Queue Unlimited + Iron Gwazi, just without Iron Gwazi.
Quick Queue Junior
Intended for families or kids not riding the park’s biggest and best rides, Quick Queue Junior is a great option for families hoping to skip lines once per ride on a busy day. The pass includes Cobra’s Curse, Stanley Falls Flume, Scorpion, Congo River Rapids, SandSerpent, and Air Grover. Junior is the cheapest of the Quick Queue lineup, often priced from $30 to $55.
Read my article here (coming soon) on whether buying Quick Queue Junior is worth it.
1-time Platinum Pass Quick Queue
If you have a Florida Platinum Pass (bought at Busch Gardens Tampa, Aquatica Orlando, Adventure Island, and Sea World Orlando), you can use a 1-time use Quick Queue per visit. You can skip 1 ride line on any Quick Queue attraction except for Iron Gwazi. This is a great perk if you’re a passholder, so make sure to use it on your favorite ride!
Just note, if you have a Sea World Parks Platinum Pass bought at a non-Florida park like Busch Gardens WIlliamsburg or Sea World San Diego, the 1-time Quick Queue is not valid at Busch Gardens Tampa. The perk is only valid at your home park (or state if bought in Florida).
Year-round Quick Queue
If you know that you’ll be visiting Busch Gardens Tampa often, and want to skip the lines each time, then you may want to consider the year-round Quick Queue, currently offered at $600. The pass is valid 365 days from your first visit date. This option is unlimited, so each visit you can skip the lines an unlimited amount of times per attraction.

Annual Pass Quick Queue Discounts
Certain passholders can receive discounts on Quick Queue passes. The following passes receive discounts on Quick Queue passes: Platinum Annual Pass (50%), Gold Annual Pass (30%), Silver Annual Pass (20%). This is a very important perk, so if you have one of these passes, make sure to use your discount. Just note, this does not apply to year-round Quick Queue.
Where to buy Quick Queue?
Quick Queue can be purchased online or in the park. To purchase Quick Queue online, read here below. To purchase inside the park, visit Guest Services at the park entrance or a self-serve kiosk (located throughout the park, there’s one at Cheetah Hunt and Iron Gwazi).
What if a ride is closed?
If an attraction is closed, you can ride an included (and open) attraction twice. If you have Quick Queue Unlimited, this policy won’t apply, but it is still useful for any Quick Queue that allows for one ride per included attraction. For example, if using Quick Queue Junior and Stanley Falls Flume is closed, you could ride Cobra’s Curse a second time. If you notice that an attraction you want to ride is closed when you’re deciding if a Quick Queue is purchase, this policy may not be enough to warrant a purchase if too many rides are closed.
You can view an updated ride closures page from the official Busch Gardens Tampa site here.
Quick Queue Pricing Guide
While Quick Queue prices can fluctuate, below you can find the ultimate guide to pricing out Quick Queue. I chose sample dates from the 2022 pricing calendar to portray the pricing breakdown for expensive and cheap days.
Just note: year-round Quick Queue is the same price, it does not depend on what day you visit. Current price is $600.
The table below includes sample dates taken from the Busch Quick Queue pricing calendar to show the pricing breakdown. While prices can technically get higher or lower than what’s below, this is extremely rare and would likely only happen if purchasing in the park. The most expensive date shows the highest the prices will get and the least expensive shows the cheapest they’ll get.
Quick Queue: $180
Quick Queue Unlimited: $200
Quick Queue Unlimited + Gwazi: $250
Quick Queue Junior: $55
Quick Queue: $40
Quick Queue Unlimited: $50
Quick Queue Unlimited + Gwazi: $70
Quick Queue Junior: $30
